I have chosen to pick my advertising essay as my favorite writing piece. I have chosen this piece because I thought I did well in it, this was a new type of writing for me. Essayist should stick to the main idea by creating a thesis statement. I also learned that essayists use the successful paragraph method which is varying your sentences. Such as beginning a sentence with a -ing word, to and a verb, a prepositional phrase, and then a concluding sentence. Using that method will help me to improve with my writing.
Writing an advertising essay is not easy but I worked hard to get a good grade on it .In this piece I know I have three reasons or proof to support the thesis. I also think this is a good piece because I have edited this piece very well, I only had one error. I also don’t have any fragments or run on sentences. In each of the five paragraphs I have at least three supporting sentences that relate to the topic sentence of each paragraph. Concluding paragraphs restates the thesis without being repetitive. As you can see over this year I have learned many things about writing.
